His passion for bringing international design to Indian homes led him to travel to London and Italy, where he sourced the finest wallpapers, infusing a rich cultural aesthetic into the local market. By the 1990s, Abbas partnered with a close friend to establish manufacturing facilities in India, ensuring high-quality wallpapers were made locally. Today, his legacy thrives as his children and grandchildren continue to uphold the family tradition, offering a wide range of both Indian-manufactured and imported wallpapers, celebrating creativity and innovation in interior décor. In June of 1971, Mr. Abbas Shiore ventured out to pioneer and Sell the 1st Indian manufactured Rolls, and then there was NO LOOKING back ….. from 1971 to March of 1975 he was decorating Indian walls with Indian wallpapers in a door to door freelancing spree ….. Then on 09th March 1975, he established his legacy / Shop, namely FAZAL WALL PAPER SPECIALISTS in Bandra. And hereafter, he was known as Mr. Fazal.
